Favorite Send to FastDrawA slick action to get your best shooter an open look from three. This action will be most effective against a team that plays heavy gap defense. 5 will veer the ball screen right into a pin down on the gap defender. Video clip below. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDouble stagger set which provides two oppurtunities to score. You could also add a ball screen at the end if there is no shot after the last stagger. Favorite Send to FastDrawGreat action by Drexel that can be used as a constant motion for younger players. If you watch them play you will see they have multiple calls out of this as well which include: 1) Ball Screens, 2) down screens, 3) more back doors etc. A lot of great stuff can come out of this. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a patterned drill that works on your screen-the-screener defense. No matter how you defend off-ball screens, you can practice that defense in this drill. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a set play out of a horns alignment we use with multiple options. First, we use the alignment to let a playmaker attack and read the defense with the horns ball screen, roll/pop action. We want to play off the ball handler, and if we can't create a shot off the initial attack, look to play 4 around 1 with our big to get it inside. Then we look at a couple simple set options that play off of the base action. Video clip below. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a sideline inbound play for a double flare screen three-pointer. The zipper into the slot ball screen stretches the defense side to side, then the double flare screen stretches it back the other way. This is an interesting way to put pressure on the defense east and west. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of a box alignment. I like how quickly this set play gets to the point. Screen the screener actions can be tough to defend, especially for teams that get through off the ball screens. Favorite Send to FastDrawAlabama ran this play at the beggining of their game against Florida. A quick play that any team can run as an ATO play. Ram screen 2 to 5. 5 fakes a ball screen. 1 passes at the wing and then 2 sets a surprise back screen as a Spain PnR action so 5 is alone under the rim. Video clip below. See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw1 passes to wing to set up UCLA Screen 5 then ball screens for 2 and rolls to the block as 1 goes to the rim as if to use a double from 3 and 4. 1 twists back off of 5's screen on the block. 4 flashes to elbow, 3 cuts to corner. 2 looks for 5 on seal, then 1 off 5's screen. 1 can shoot, drive or pass to 5 in the post.
