Favorite Send to FastDrawMichigan beat #2 seeded Louisville, to advance to the Sweet 16 of the 2017 NCAA Tournament. Coach Pitino said,You take away Michigan's right-hand, you have a very good chance of stopping them off the bounce. This was in reference to Louisville's struggles to keep Michigan from getting to their right hand. It is no coincidence that Michigan is able to accomplish this, despite their opponents knowing about this strength. The Wolverines do some things, which enable them to maximize their ability to get to their right hand. Look for more of this, from the hottest team in the Country, as they continue their run next week. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawWith the Australian Boomers win over the French national team I thought I would put up my favorite play from the French U17 mens team. We played the French team in pre world competition losing to them by 1 point on a shot at the buzzer. This action which we called "cirlce motion" was very effective at allowing them to have multiple scoring options while being hard for us to negate defencively. I like the action to create uncontested threes and/or in situations you want some time off the clock before on ball play. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGreat horns set that is incredibly hard to defend, especially for X3 who has to defend a screen, DHO, and on ball screen. Play is designed to get 4/5 in a high low situation with shooters spacing the floor. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawACE is one of the ball screen concepts in the Villanova Four-Out Motion Offense. ACE is a side ball screen set by the interior play on the wing. It can sometimes be set by a perimeter player as well. Instead of the automatic roll in ROLL, the screener pops for a shot and throwback option. Weakside players exchange. Slot player shades to the weakside of the midline to leave double gap for the drive. Villanova Playbook... See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawCoaches, in my posts you will find me talking about getting your best players the ball a lot. I think it is very important to a teams success that the best players get the most looks and the best looks possible. Sometimes, you also have to get your opponents off balance. I have found the following play successful over the past few seasons, but it seems to me that the more unexpected it is the better. This is a fantastic play to get your trail big an easy bucket.
