Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set was ran by the LA Lakers Summer League Team. There are a lot of different options from this play and it is really important for your point guard to make the right decision. I really like how this play opens up the floor on the ball side, but keeps the defenders busy on the weak side. The 1st option is a dibble handoff between the 5 and 3 The 2nd option is a kickout to the 1 and then a Pick & Roll with the 5 to open up three different looks See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawQuick three pointers and post-up opportunities that take place simultaneously can be very useful for a team that needs a bucket and can afford to shoot from any spot on the floor. Drag DHO Flare is a play designed to get a post up and a flare screen opportunity at the same time. This play designs a shot for 2 from the corner and specifically targets a miscommunication amongst defenders x4 and x2. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawKevin Stallings and Vanderbilt have run this play for a few seasons, most notably with Festus Ezeli during the 2011-2012 season. As a four guard set it opens up the lane for a screening big man to slip to the rim and for guards to get many good shooting looks. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great set used by the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets during the 2011-12 season to get one of their wings driving hard towards the basket. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Indiana Pacers ran this quick hitter at the end of the half in Game 5 of the 2013 Eastern Conference Finals vs Miami. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis Sideline out of Bounds play was run by the Utah Jazz under the leadership of Jerry Sloan. Sloan used a handoff/ downscreen curl simultaneously to get the ball into a cutting big man, who would usually get to the free throw line as a result of this play. There are many options for a layup or a shot in a very brief amount of action; all around one of the better side-out plays I've seen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother finish to the Miami Heat's dribble handoff, Iverson cut entry. This time they hit the first screener on the iverson cut popping back to the ball. 2 follows his pass and gets a short pass back from 4 moving to the open side of the floor. He drives it deep as 1 cracks back to set a deep side ball screen in the mid range area. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Miami Heat loved to enter their offense with a dribble handoff into an iverson cut. This set ends with the 2 who set a screen in the iverson cut, cracking back to set a ball screen for #6 Lebron James to an open side of the floor. Using the screen to get deep then the 4 who set the last screen in the iverson cut comes and sets a ball screen at a really deep angle. Tough to defend. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother example of the Miami Heat using a dribble handoff to enter their offense and then running a player off two screens in an iverson action. To end the action #3 Dwayne Wade gets two ball screens a slip screen from the shooting 4 man, and then a ball screen from #1 Chris Bosh. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA slight counter to the Heat's dribble handoff into iverson action as after the handoff the PG (#15 Chalmers or #30 Cole move down to the block to set a back screen for #1 Chris Bosh to post up. With #6 Lebron James playing the 4 and handling the ball the point continues up to ball screen for him. Another action to eliminate the high hedge. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a quick hitter that we used to run several seasons ago. It was called "Rondo" for Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics, who ran some similar actions. This set could be used as a quick-hitting set to flow into your normal offense, or it is also good action that could also be used at the end of quarter/half/shot clock. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMiami entered a lot of their offense with a dribble handoff. Here after the DH #34 Ray Allen sets up his man and runs off a screen looking for his shot. If the shot isnt there he hands right back to 2 or in this case #3 Dwayne Wade. On the handoff #3 Dwayne Wade gets a ball screen from #1 Chris Bosh with the entire side of the floor open. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis was a play run at one time by the Dallas Mavericks in their 2011 NBA Championship run. The plan was to get Dirk and Kidd in a ballscreen read situation where Dirk could isolate at one of two spots on the floor and have proper spacing around him. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Knicks ran this play in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Pacers at the end of a quarter. The play was designed to get a J.R. Smith and Carmelo Anthony ballscreen in space. The play was probably designed for Carmelo to pop off the screen and isolate on the wing; instead Chandler was wide open at the rim and Melo hit him for an alley oop. See More
