San Antonio Spurs "Motion Option"
01/25/2016Play gives 4 man two options. Can use X-screen, or can use 5's downscreen for a jump shot. Good action if your 4 man can shoot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw2 Early Offense actions the Maryland Terps have been running much of the season. It's the same set that ends in either a low post entry baseline or a side ball screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTurning motion weak into a ball screen is an excellent counter for teams that anticipate the cross-down action. It clears out an entire side of the court for the roll man to turn hard to the rim and look to finish. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Minnesota Timberwolves ran Motion Weak and Kevin Martin, a strong outside shooter, never set the first cross screen. When the cross screen is not set and the offensive player darts up the down screen, his man will lag behind as he prepares to help on the cross screen. Without any contact with an opposing defender, Martin is free to get a step on his man before the action occurs. This wrinkle is great for a shooter if a team spends a lot of time running cross screens See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMotion Weak, or "Thru", is a common NBA early offense set that can be run at any level. It is effective at using player movement and ball movement, trying to establish the post first and foremost, and getting a shooter open off a down screen. It is one of the best and most standard screen-the-screener actions, and it also results in tremendous floor balance with many wrinkles possible. Gregg Popovich of the Spurs has long been utilizing this set of offense. Steve Kerr and the Warriors have added a wrinkle, turning the set into a Horns formation off the down screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGreat action from Mike Budenholzer for Kyle Korver. Shooter starts away from the busy action, and the chaos on the strong side causes the help defenders to focus on something other than the shooter. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA very quick pistol action out of early offense, the point guard attacks hard to the rim and the hammer screen either opens up the rim on his drive or an open three pointer in the corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA great counter to the Pistol action, Rick Adelman ran this for the Timberwolves to get middle penetration for Ricky Rubio with shooters looping and big men screening. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Pistol action is a common NBA early offense set that tries to create switches and mismatches with frequent screens in a congested and tight area on the wing. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawVanderbilt ran this Early Offense quick hitter last night in the Maui Invitational Championship game vs Kansas. 3 lifting his arm, acting as he was setting a backscreen, really set up this play to allow him the extra step to get off the catch & shoot before the defense could recover. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Panthers have many players in their line-up who can play multiple positions and this set play (which also has a counter) is designed to get their 5 man Koch the ball inside. A quick hitting action with the DHO leading right into a shuffle cut backscreen action. Well designed and really moves the defense to make a quick decision how to help due to Bohannon's ability to knockdown the 3 pt shot stepping out at the TOK. UNI runs one of the most exciting offensive packages in the country and although Ben Jacobsen is known for his strong defense, their offense should not be underestimated. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawEarly Action being run with Gasol and Rose often during the first few games of the season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Boston Celtics ran this play against the Toronto Raptors on October 30th 2015... Tyler Zeller (5) received pass for lay-up off curl cut. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLA Clippers ran this against the Dallas Mavericks. Jamal Crawford scored a 3pt pull-up off the drag screen. The 4 position was played by Paul Pierce. See More
