Favorite Send to FastDrawTom Izzo's Spartans ran this play Sunday night in their game vs Oakland. What I love about this plays is that there is a scoring option for all five players within the sequence. Options: 2 is able to curl and get into the lane on the initial catch Hand-off to 1 for a lay-up Catch & shoot for 3 (OR pass to 5 if he slips to the rim and X5 over-helps) Throwback to 4 for a shot Throwback to 4 for a post feed to 5 See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawI got this from Illinois in the Maui finals. Starts off as an isolation set in the 1-4 set and ends with either a 3 or a lob. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play is a variation of a set ran by the Puerto Rico national team. Its designed to get into a spread pick and roll spacing. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is the first option from the insdie triangle set. 1 dribbles to right wing, pushing 3 through the lane to cross screen for 5. As 5 posts up 4 down screens for 3. 3 cuts to top and catches from 1 and reverses to 2. 4 turns and posts on the left side of the basket for scoring opportunity in paint. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is one of my favorite sets from the 13-14 season, and is a staple of the Trailblazers' offense. Very similar to Rick Carlisle's "Get" series from the championship Mavericks team, this set creates multiple scoring looks for each of the Blazers' offensive weapons, and can be modified to highlight any player within the offense. Below are 3 options within the set: Thumb Up, Thumb Fist, and Thumb Punch. Thumb Up creates catch & shoot opportunities for Matthews and Batum, Thumb Fist puts Aldridge and Lillard in a pick and pop situation, and Thumb Punch creates a post scoring opportunity for Aldridge. Favorite Send to FastDrawCleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt should bring lots of exciting twists to the sometimes bland NBA offense landscape. Here is a play called "Circle" See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Triangle Offense depends a lot on the low post. When the low post is not open, here is a great option to get your best scorer open off a staggered screen for a jump shot or curl. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis Rhody option is one to run as a quick hitter in a Need 3 situation. Once again it is essential that 2 cuts shoulder to shoulder off the screens from 5 and 4 to encourage X5 and X4 to become occupied with the cut that they do not see the elevator action coming. Furthermore, if X5 sniffs out the play and tries to deny the pass to 3, slip 5 to the rim for a lay-up (If you don't need a 3 pointer). See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawKyle Korver shot 47% from 3-point land this past season. Here is a play the Atlanta Hawks ran for Kyle, a dho 3 pointer. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCleveland Cavaliers coach is probably working overtime with his FastDraw account. He ran this play with Maccabi Tel Aviv this past season. It will work really well for Mike Miller or James Jones. And if Ray Allen signs with the Cavs you could see Ray coming off the staggered screen and LeBron setting a lot more screens this season. Favorite Send to FastDrawThursday night in their win over the Miami Heat, the Chicago Bulls ran this pick & roll play for Luol Deng to start the game. As 3 comes off the pick, 1 relocates to the corner as 4 and 5 space outside the lane. If the defense shifts to take away the drive, look to fire a pass to 1 in the corner and have your bigs screen in on the defense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw#10 enters to #15 in the high post #3 ducks in hard for a post up #15 looks to enter to #3 (high/lo) #10 comes off #0 for a fade 3pt shot See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLast night during LeBron James' homecoming, the Cleveland Cavaliers ran this action to start off their game vs the Knicks to kick off the 2014-15 season. Running LeBron to the weak side put more attention on the pin-down for 5 (Varejao) as the Knicks thought the action would be going to James' side of the floor. However, the Cavs sneaked in 4 (Love) behind the rim off a cross screen and was able to seal his defender for an easy catch and score. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSame alignment as Homerun "Single" 2 will fake deep and come back to the ball this time. 3 will fake the double screen for 1 and then run deep. 5 and 1 run play as if they were running homerun single. 4 looks to throw the deep ball to 3. See More
