Favorite Send to FastDrawThe San Antonio Spurs used this SLOB play with only 4.5 seconds left on the shot clock to get an easy layup. The Spurs used a common play with the elevator screen as a decoy adding a back screen to it. Kawhi Leonard (4) did a good job of keeping x4 on his top side as he set the elevator screen with 5. This allowed 5 to set a quick back screen and get 4 a wide open layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe LA Clippers ran this lob play early in game 5 against the Utah Jazz. As 1 gets the dribble handoff from 5, 4 runs off of a double screen as a decoy clearing the defense to set up the lob. 2 sets a back screen for 5 putting the defense in a position where x2 has to help guard 5. 1 makes a lob pass to 5 at the rim. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Milwaukee Bucks ran this play early in game 6 against the Toronto Raptors to get an opportunity for a post up for 4 or 2 coming off a staggered screen for a shot. This is a difficult play for x2 to defend as has to provide help on the screen for x4 and get through the staggered screens to take away a shot from 2. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavaliers ran this play multiple times in the 4th quarter of game 4 against the Toronto Raptors to get Kyrie Irving (1) in isolation situations for him to create. The Cavs used this play to help break open the game and extend their lead from 2 to 8. After 1 gets the ball, 3, 2, and 4 are spread around the 3 point line to give 1 space to operate. 5 is on the weakside block ready for an offensive rebound or a finish if his defender helps. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Toronto Raptors ran this multiple option BLOB play early in the 4th quarter of game 4 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. 2 cuts hard to the basket looking for a layup for the first option. 4 & 5 then set a staggered screen for 3 for the second option. The Raptors anticipated x5 providing help on the screen and 5 slipped the screen to the basket for a layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavs ran this ATO to get a quick postup for LeBron James, taking advantage of Toronto's strategy of switching screens on Kyle Korver.. Once 3 (Korver) got a good screen from 5, he sprinted off the baseline screen from 4 (James). Once x4 switched onto 3, 4 ducked in to receive the pass from 1 in the post. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Atlanta Hawks ran this play to get a great look for a lob after a time out in their playoff game against the Washington Wizards.. A common action in this set is 2 coming of the stagger screen for a shot. In this play the Hawks used that action as a decoy and then 3 slipped the screen to the short corner. This cleared the help defense and put their 5 in a one on one position in the post. 5 then fakes the duck in and spins off of his man to catch the lob pass for the dunk. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWhen building your playbook for next season, we want to give you some things to consider. For example, do your sets have anything that make them easy to scout? Do they all start from different formations? Is it difficult to flow from the base offense, into the sets? Do they all use the same action? Do the sets lack versatility? These are all challenges, which coaches must consider, and do not realize until they face the best teams on their schedule. The "Elbow Series" below is an example of some sets that check all of the necessary boxes, which make them a solid addition to your playbook. Read More: http://bit.ly/2pbH6L1 See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavs were up 5 with 30.9 seconds left and ran this play to help seal the win against the Indiana Pacers. This play was very difficult to guard because of all the offensive threats that were on the floor for the Cavs. The inital action forced the Pacers to defend the staggered screen so as not to give up an open 3 to a shooter (Kyle Korver). The secondary action used the Cavs two best players with 4 (Lebron James) setting a back screen for 1 (Kyrie Irving). x4 has a difficult choice to make. Helping on the backscreen might take away the layup but it would also get 4 an open shot. x4 stayed with his man and 1 got a wide open layup on the play. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Boston Celtics ran this ATO in their playoff opener against the Chicago Bulls to get an easy basket at the rim. The dribble handoff and ball reversal actions are used to clear a side of the floor for the lob and get the defense to focus on stopping 1. In order to take the lob away x1 needs to drop and protect the rim, but he would run the risk of 1 getting open for a shot. The Celtics run a similiar action to this play where 1 is the primary option and will get the ball back on a handoff from 4. In this play x1 is focused on stopping 1 and doesn't provide help on the back screen. This gets 3 a wide open look on the lob. See More
