Favorite Send to FastDrawA nice backdoor set David Blatt ran for Kyrie Irving out of a timeout. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw3 cuts to the right wing off of a screen from 4. At the same time, 5 moves down to the block and 2 moves to the left wing. 1 passes to 2 then cuts off of a flare-screen from 4. If 1 isn't open, 2 dribbles towards the top of the key then looks to pass to 1 on the wing. 2 clears out and 4 sets a ball-screen for 1. If 5 gets the ball flashing high, he looks to give the ball to 2 on a dribble hand-off in the corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAllen throws the ball into James as James steps out from the elbow. The first option is to pass to Wade cutting off of a back-screen from Bosh. Another option is for Wade to flare the screen and have Bosh step back to the ball for the pass from James. If Bosh gets the ball, he can play a 2-man game with Wade on the right side of the floor. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this drill, there are 3 lines (1 with guards, 1 with wings, and 1 with post players). A coach starts with the ball on the opposite wing. In option 1, the drill starts with G passing to W and then G cuts through to the opposite corner. P steps out to set a ball-screen for W. W drives into the lane and hits P on the roll. The coach passes to the G in the corner and the post player on the baseline passes to W. The drill ends with all 3 players getting a shot. In option 2, it starts the same except that W will pass to G in the corner, coach will pass to W, and the post player on the baseline will pass to the post rolling off of the screen to the short corner. Favorite Send to FastDrawThroughout the season and the tournament Notre Dame Fighting Irish ran this set as an entry into their motion offense (blocker mover). Very effective in creating player movement, ultimately looking to stretch the floor with their shooting ability and create closeout situations. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawVey well thought out play from the Spurs... Having 4 receive back screen from 5 makes it difficult for 4's defender to stunt/hedge as 1 comes off down screen... Especially when Parker (1) is non-shooter. Spurs ran this against the Clippers in Game 2 with minutes remaining in the first half. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMid-way through the second quarter, the LA Clippers ran this Horns play against the San Antonio Spurs. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCommon play for the San Antonio Spurs-usually seen out of their pattern motion offense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a play drawn up after the quarter break (TV timeout). Memphis Grizzlies ran this play against the Portland Trailblazers, Jeff Green (4) was able to get all the way to rim, driving off 5's slip. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPortland Trailblazers ran this play in game 2 of the Portland-Memphis series. With Lillard's speed and Portland's execution of spacing and screening, Lillard gets a clear drive to the rim. If Lillard decides to shoot the ball of the high ball screen, Robin Lopez (5) has great rebounding position. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGreat play to bring misdirection into a early reversal and action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAt the 5:40 mark in the first half, UAB ran this box set play. The Blazers were very patient and worked through multiple options before getting an open shot on the dribble hand-off at the end of the play. UAB missed the shot but got an offensive rebound. Slowing the game down and working through offensive options looks to be a good strategy for Coach Haase. This slows down Iowa State and can get the Cyclones into foul trouble if they are lazy on defense. See More
