Favorite Send to FastDrawWe use this shooting drill to work on our split cut actions when there is a post feed. We use coaches as extra passers in order to get more reps. We also always have a defender on the post player and will also progress to having the drill be 3v3. The defender will be instructed by a coach on how to guard the post. As the season progresses, we will let the defender choose and the offensive player will read the defense. Click here for more #PlayerDevelopmentWeek content! See More

The actions that they are running are not complex. The actions that they run are designed to allow players to make reads and play. These Zip Quick plays all start with a zipper screen followed by a the weakside single away. "Quick" is a term used league-wide to label single away screens. Favorite Send to FastDrawSwing Cross is an option upon the swing or centering pass to the center trailer in Early Offense. On passes to the center trailer the offense executes "dual actions" in this case cutting to opposite corner from the high wing. The ball movement and dual actions move players prior to the pentration moment (spread ball screen).
