Favorite Send to FastDrawScreeners need to head hunt and hit the shooters defender with a good screen. If the shooters defender goes over the screen the shooter should fade to the corner and if the defender chases on the screen the shooter should curl or straight cut. This inbound’s play is good because it gets right into an offensive set. Every inbound play should be a chance to score or directly into an offensive set. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. Favorite Send to FastDrawShooter needs to set his man up and not be predictable on his cut. Come off the screen ready to shoot if you are open. Don’t make the shooter wait on the ball. If you can get the ball to your best player where the defender is at a disadvantage then you have done your job as a coach. On this play the defender is late to the ball because he had trouble with the double screen that let the shooter drive the ball past him to the basket. Create situations for your players to have an advantage over the defense. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe double stack screeners need to set a good solid screen and the shooter needs to read if the defender is going to go under or over the screens. Having a good out of bounds plays can be the difference in a game. When you practice them make sure that you practice them full speed and talk about the different looks that the inbounder needs to make on the pass. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. Favorite Send to FastDrawScreeners need to head hunt and hit the shooters defender with a good screen. If the shooters defender goes over the screen the shooter should fade to the corner and if the defender chases on the screen the shooter should curl or straight cut. A good play doesn’t have to be complex or involve 15 screens but it does require the players to execute it the right way. Make sure that your screeners are head hunting on the screens and not just standing. This will determine whether the shooter gets a good look or not. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. Favorite Send to FastDrawA play from Bobby Cremins and the College of Charleston. This set play has a lot of options to it: 1) 4 posting up. 2) 2 coming off stagger to the top, and 3) 3 coming off a baseline screen. The play could finish in a lot of different ways, but easiest would be a high/low look for the 4 posting off the baseline screen. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a play that we like to run out of our secondary offense to provide a post-up opportunity for our 4 man and a stagger screen for our best shooter. This play could also serve as a set, if you want to specifically get a post touch or 3, otherwise, it serves as good secondary movement into your motion offense. See More
