Basketball Play - Louisville Cardinals - Iverson Backdoor ATO

Louisville Cardinals - Iverson Backdoor ATO

Dustin Cooper 02/13/2019

Quick Hitter from Coach Chris Mack. This was a staple in his ATO playbook at Xavier and he has continued to utilize it at Louisville. Starts with a 1-4 high setup and then a Iverson cut. Timing is key to making this work! Coach Mack likes to use Ryan McMahon as the cutter because of his ability to shoot the ball - the defenders arent expecting him to make a cut towards the paint. Basketball Play - Toronto Raptors - SLOB "3" (Misdirection Pick and Roll)

Toronto Raptors - SLOB "3" (Misdirection Pick and Roll)

Cooper Smither 02/12/2019

Another Sideline Out of Bounds (SLOB) play Nick Nurse introduced in his first season as the Head Coach for the Toronto Raptors is one which uses the same formation as SLOB "1". Through misdirection to make the defense believe "1" is being run, the Raptors have caught defenses by surprise quite frequently before engaging in a middle ball screen after a dribble handoff (DHO). This is typically a set play used to get Kawhi Leonard a possession as a pick and roll ball handler. Free Download: Toronto Raptors Playbook See More

Basketball Play - Toronto Raptors - Horns Flex Uphill DHO

Toronto Raptors - Horns Flex Uphill DHO

Cooper Smither 02/12/2019

This is an after time out (ATO) play primarily used by Head Coach Nick Nurse and the Toronto Raptors to get Kyle Lowry a pull-up 3-pointer. By keeping the defense honest with the occassional solid cross screen and flex cut, Lowry's defender is forced to trail him as he approaches the "uphill" DHO to make this an effective set play. Basketball Play - Tennessee Volunteers - Early Offense: Baseline Runner Duck in

Tennessee Volunteers - Early Offense: Baseline Runner Duck in

Dustin Cooper 02/04/2019

A set designed to get a DEEP post catch! Tennessee is the best team in the country at getting deep post position using physical duck ins. I call this a "False Motion" set because it uses actions to disguise what they want to get to in the end, in this example Coach Rick Barnes uses a baseline runner to get a deep post look. After 3 screens, in he gets his defender to relax and then ducks in the paint for a catch. Click for more NCAA Top 25 XsOs! See More
