Favorite Send to FastDrawGood offensive players can not only dominate their initial defender but also score on help defenders. In this drill Manu Ginobli uses the help through contact to gain leverage to score. For more NBA drills check out the 2012 NBA All Star Skill Development Playbook See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis plan comes for 3fromthecorner.com follower Coach Dan Carey from Hamilton High School in Sussex, Wisconsin. Offense's goal is to simply dribble the ball into the paint -- no shots, just get into the paint safely with both feet and under control with the ball. This game really helps with a "no help needed" mentality guarding the ball -- something we say all the time to our players. We want them in "one-on-one mentality" when guarding the ball. But when focusing on help, and getting into gaps, this is a great drill to build the habit of being there early with your FEET on helpside, and not reaching. Put in a "shot clock" of 15-20 seconds that the offense has to try to get into the paint *Offense not allowed to play "butt ball" and just catch it, back your man down and get into the paint -- has to be on a direct drive *Great drill to build toughness in your team. Also a great drill for taking charges See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawEvery Coach will tell you the importance of winning 50/50 balls. Most of us spend some time on rebounding technique but when it comes to loose balls we just expect our players to just "want it more than they do." While effort is a major part, this drill allows you to teach how to get more of those balls. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawI started thinking about this offense this summer and really like the options and flow it has. I have run dribble drive in the past. Our program currently uses the Read & React so I took the spacing, Layer 1 and added some ball screen options and a little confusion for the defense. The offense gives you the spacing to attack the basket, while incorporating ball screens that force your opponents to find the best way to defend the ball screen. I've attached a breakdown drill we will use and will post more later. If this offense is something you think might help your team, please contact me at coachwhite@3fromthecorner.com See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCoach starts with a pass to wing. x2 and x1 jump to midline. 1 and 2 interchange, forcing x1 and x2 to talk and work around each other. As x1 and x2 are working together, coach can drive. Lowest defender must stop the drive while other defender drops down. See More
