Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a traditional screen the screener quick hitter out of a box set to get an open 3pt shot for your shooting guard or a post feed. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Miami Heat ran this set in the ECF against the Indiana Pacers to get Dwayne Wade free on a ball screen. Chris "Birdman" Andersen ended up getting a lay-up as after he set the screen for Chris Bosh he rolled to the rim where Wade floated him a lob. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a set the Miami Heat ran in the Eastern Conference Finals to get Ray Allen a key three point basket against the Indiana Pacers. They utilized mis-direction having Lebron James sprint from the corner to set the ball screen and then pop while running Ray Allen off a stagger. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set virginia used to get a post touch for the 5 man. 3 & 4 have to really headhunt for 5's defender on the backscreen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Indiana Pacers run a lot of zipper screens to free up #24 Paul George. Here they sent #55 Roy Hibbert up immediatly on the catch to set a ball screen for George while clearing out the left side of the floor. I think the key to this action is #21 David West the Pacer's 4 man moving to the short corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Pacers ran this set in a late clock situation right before the end of the First Half in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals vs the Miami Heat. #21 David West with a textbook example of ducking in, sealing a defender. This play didn't result in a basket as West missed an open lay-up. But the job he does of going along the baseline, then coming back towards the rim sealing they switching defender was tremendous. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Spurs ran this play at 6:59 of Q4 in game 5. The play involves a staggered screen for Manu and a dribble hand off between Duncan and Paker. After Duncan was isolated between the elbow and mid post he made a tremendous move on Bosh. He up faked, cross over stepped, took one dribble middle and spun baseline for the 1 handed bank shot from the block. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Indiana Pacers ran this set a few times in the ECF against the Miami Heat. They utilized mis-direction against an aggressive Heat defense to keep Miami on their toes. Following the UCLA screen and flex screen the 1 man then turns right back around to get the 3, letting #24 Paul George run off a stagger screen. This brought the 1 off a down screen and gave him the ball back in a better scoring area for him to create. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAlthough this set didn't result in a basket or even free throws it forced a great defensive effort from the Miami Heat to stop the Pacers from scoring. This action puts a lot of pressure on the defense as they have to guard a mis direction cut by the 2, then the stagger iverson action for #24 Paul George who everyone thinks the play is going to, a flare screen for #21 David West, and then finally a slip/dive to the rim by #55 Roy Hibbert. This set had some fantastic actions. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSet run by Miami at the 9:35 mark of Q3 in their game 5 loss to the Spurs. It's a mid ball screen that ends up with a post feed for Wade. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSideline out of bounds play ran by the CT Sun. This play is hard to guard with the double flare and staggered flare. The timing is important as 1 has to wait to let 2 finish the cut. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Indiana Pacers loved to run #24 Paul George off the Iverson Action or Zipper screens to get him open. Here after running off #21 David West's Iverson screen, he gets a ball screen from him. The key to this action is everyone clearing out on the ball screen as the 5 ducks in to the middle of the paint. With #21 West's shooting ability and #24 George's ability to create, score, and make plays more often then not the opponents in this case the Miami Heat will switch the bigs sending the 5 man's defender out to defend the popping 4 man. This leaves the 5 man with a guard dropping down on him. #55 Roy Hibbert did an unbelievable job of getting to the lane and sealing a smaller 2 man here. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this set the Indiana Pacers ran #24 Paul George off a zipper screen to create seperation before getting a ball screen from #55 Roy Hibbert. On the ball screen #21 David West rolls up for a roll & replace action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith so much attention being placed on #24 Paul George the Indiana Pacers used him in every set they ran as either the main option or a decoy. Here he starts by running an iverson action across the floor to get the defense focused on him. #21 David West flashes up to the elbow for his catch. On his catch #24 George runs right around him to the basket. West has a simple read throw it to George or if his man backs off to protect the pass, shoot the ball. See More
