In this set, you have a good look to get your point guard a three point shot and if that doesn't get you a good look at the basket, it ends with an Americas play action that will hopefully get you a good look at the basket as well. I saw Stephen Curry doing this before a game so we decided to make a drill out of it. This is a great drill because you (1) get conditioning and game type shots, (2) movement and (3) you can use both sides of the floor. We set the scoring as follows: The Shooter must make 3 3pt shots to complete the drill. They do not have to be in a row. Mid range Shots do not count as a make. Advanced: The Shooter must make 4/5 shots including the mid-range if they miss a 3pt shot. Expert: The Shooter must make 3 consecutive 3pt shots. See More

Opening play run by the Miami Heat in their 98-86 win over the Buck's 4/23/13. If you have a guard who is good in the post, a backsreen is a great way to set it up. The Buck's switched the backscreen, but 5's defender did not guard 2 (Wade) closely enough, allowing the pass into the post. See More

In Play 1 SOB 2 is your inbounder 5 steps up to screen for 3 who cuts first to the ball side corner looking for a quick pass 1 sets a back screen for 4 looking for the lob at the rim SOB 5 4 & 3 screen simultaneously for 1 & 2 (5 has the option to hit either one if they are open) 4 screens across for 3 who comes to the ball and receives the pass 3 swings the ball to 4 as 1 is cross screening in the lane for 2 who comes off the screen looking to catch & shoot 1 continues across the lane and screens 5 who dives hard to the ball side post looking for a pass from 2 if no shot was taken See More

This is a baseline out of bounds play that I ran this season with my high school team. Initially when I drew up this action I invisioned utilizing the ending of the play to get 5 a lay-up. But the option that was usually open was 3 cutting to the wing for a shot. 5 was rarely open for 2 reasons; one was a lack of patience and two being that they would forget to run this option.
