Today's FastDraw Play of the Day is the last in a series of baseline out of bounds plays from a box set that work the ball inside to a designated player after intial scoring options are not open.
When you come off of a down screen or out screen you don’t have to look and catch and shoot. A lot of times you will be able to catch and drive the ball because the defender will over close out because he is behind the play because of getting hung up on the screen. This play is from the 2007-2008 Chicago Bulls season.
This play is set out of the box set and the goal is get a shot off of the second down screen but once you have gotten this a couple times you can set them up and the use the counter. It is important to have counters because it helps keep the defense honest.
