The Toronto Raptors ran this corner OOB play to get their best player a look off of a pindown screen. All 4 players start spread out near halfcourt then cut to the basket. 5 gets a screen from 1 to receive the entry pass. On the catch, 2 sets a pindown screen for 3. 5 then passes to the 3 for a shot. The Raptors weren't able to get a shot from 3 but this play forced a double team and they were able to get an open look for 5. See More

The Cleveland Cavs ran this play to get Lebron the ball in a 1 on 1 situation at the basket with 1.9 seconds left on the shot clock. 5, 4, and 2 cut hard to the perimeter bringing their defenders with them. This allowed 3 (Lebron) to cut to the basket with only his defender to beat. Though he missed the shot, the Cavs got a good shot in the paint in a late clock situation. See More

The Iverson Cut initiates the set, which is followed by a screen-the-ballscreener action. To really challenge the defense, there is a weak side flare screen, and a back screen for the ball screener. Ball Screen Sets - Horns Double

"Horns Double" is another wrinkle off of the basic "Horns Action." The set creates multiple actions, behind the ball screen. With the post player defending the ball screen, the help is eliminated on the weak side double stagger screen. If the defense recovers, the play ends with a Flare screen for the 4. This set requires the defense to have perfect switches and/or a perfect scramble rotation. As we see, throughout the history of basketball, great offense has an advantage over great defense.
