Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 29.8 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter and the OKC Thunder trailing the Denver Nuggets by 4 points, Billy Donovan ran this ATO action for Russell Westbrook to get a drive. The initial action by Victor Oladipo curling off of the stagger screen is decoy action to create movement. Steven Adams follows and sets a second screen for Westbrook. Adams diving to the basket after the screen puts pressure on the defense for a potential lob. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis box set incorporates our "ELBOW" action. The Elbow action starts in a box set, with guards splitting to the wings. Post lift up the lane line. What I like about this play is the versatility. It can be used to generate an open 3, a post iso, or a high/low look. It can also be used effectively against man-to-man or zone defense, by simply teaching 4 to set the cross screen on the middle of the zone. Favorite Send to FastDrawBrad Stevens is earning a tremendous reputation as a great ATO coach. In tonight's game (4/6/17), he ran this SLOB on back-to-back ATOs. It is a simple, but effective, screen the screener action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Chicago Bulls are trying to make a playoff push, late in the 2016-2017 season. They used this secondary break multiple times in the 2nd half of their win over the Philadelphia 76ers. It resulted in numerous baskets, allowing the Bulls guards to get downhill in the pick and roll. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a wrinkle from the Golden State Warriors "Fist Up" play that they normally run as an EOQ/EOH action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a wrinkle from the Boston Celtics "4" action in early offense. Instead of 1 (Isaiah Thomas) following his pass for a handoff after throwing it to 4 and attacking downhill with his left, 4 fakes the handoff and passes to 3 lifting up to the wing on the right side. 1 & 4 set a stagger screen for 2. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Boston Celtics ran this "Point" action against the Cleveland Cavaliers as an ATO set. This is a wrinkle from the Celtics' "Point 2" series. Rather than 1 following his pass to receive the ball back from 3 like in their regular "Point" series, 4 flashes to the elbow for a catch. http://www.fastmodelsports.com/library/basketball/fastdraw/152312/play-Boston-Celtics--Point-2 See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis Hawk set is a wrinkle from the Cleveland Cavaliers "Hawk Stagger" action when X2 denies 2 cutting to the basket off of the back screen. Instead of 2 cutting off of the weakside stagger screen from 4 & 5, he sets a double ball-screen with 3 for 1. As 1 attacks off of the ball screen, 3 rolls to the short corner and 5 sets a down screen for 4 as X5 is zoning up to help on the penetration and roll. 1 has option driving it to the basket, passing to 3 on the roll, 2 "shaking" behind 3's roll or drive-and-kick to 4 (Kevin Love) exiting to the wing. Favorite Send to FastDrawGonzaga ran this Dummy BLOB action against the Tar Heels' 2-1-2 Zone Defense in the 2017 Men's Basketball National Championship game. 4 (Zach Collins) screens the bottom defender of the zone to free 3 (Jordan Mathews) for the open corner 3-point shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWay too often, teams have put the ball into a player's hands, and asked him to be a hero. There is no action being run, and the player dribbles into a contested shot. The goal of this is to give coaches some other actions that they can use to generate a quality shot. See More
