About This Play/Drill

Motion Offense with a "screener-cutter" model that can take multiple alignments.

  • Guards cut and fill "top-side-side"

     

    All three guards are considered cutters (C)

  • Your 4 & 5 are screeners (S)

     

    Screeners can screen from the midline to the sideline on their side of the floor.

     

    They must remain on that side of the floor during the entire possession.

  • Play from various starting alignments

    Team can set up with two post players (screeners) inside.

    They can set up in the blocks

    They can set up with one in the block and another in high post

    They can set up with both in the high post

  • Play from various starting alignments

    Team sets up in 5-out look with posts (Screeners) in the corners. (shown)

     

    Post could also set up with one in the corner and another at the wing (offset)

  • Play from various starting alignments

    Team can set up in a 5-out inverted with posts (screeners) at wings and cutters in corners.

  • Play from various starting alignments

    One screener can set up out in the wing or corner on their side and the other can setup in the post

  • Screeners screen for cutters

    Cutters cut and fill while staying top-side-side and using screens from the screeners
