About This Play/Drill

If you have a scoring point guard this is a play to have in your playbook.

This play gives your point the freedom to cut to different areas on the floor for an open shot or feed the post.

You can use any player at the point to produce a great shot or post shot.

 

  • Basketball Play - Detroit single/double
  • Basketball Play - Detroit single/double
  • Basketball Play - Detroit single/double
  • Basketball Play - Detroit single/double
  • Play begins with double stack on each side. 2 and 3 use screen to get open on wing.

    Point guard hits 2 and cuts to rim.
     

  • 3 fills high to catch up top.

    2 cuts below 5 to create stack on right side.
     

  • 1 has choice of cutting off single on left side or double on right side.

    He uses 2-5 double screen to catch on right wing.

    2 vacates to left corner.

    After 3 passes, he cuts to left wing.
     

  • 1 will shoot open shot as first option.

    If no shot, 5 posts, catches, and gets ball to the rim one on one.
