About This Play/Drill

Lithuania Coach Kazlauskas has a lot of experence in Europe and his offesive schemes incorporate a lot of ball movement and screening actions.

 

Here is a tremendous set play run against France in the European Championship Final designed to isolate their strong 3 man, but when the play breaks down, the flat screen is used to isolate the PG for either a shot or penetration

    3 (Maciulis - 8) comes off the double stagger and curls to the opposite post as 1 (Kalnietis - 5) dribbles over with the cutter to shift the defense and set-up the next action

  • Stagger to Post Action vs M2M - Lithuania

     

    5 (Lavrinovic - 7) sets a pin down screen for 4 (Kleiza - 11) who comes off and receives the pass from 1 (Kalnietis - 5)

  • Stagger to Post Action vs M2M - Lithuania

     

    5 (Lavrinovic - 7) sets a cross screen in the paint for 3 (Maciulis - 8) who comes ball side - 5 (Lavrinovic - 7) seals back to the middle of the paint off the screen

     

    4 (Kleiza - 11) has either option to enter the ball into the post

  • Stagger to Post Action vs M2M - Lithuania

     

    As the shot clock is winding down and neither option is open in the paint

     

    5 (Lavrinovic - 7) sprints to set a ball screen on x1 as 1 (Kalnietis - 5) comes off the screen for the pull-up jumper at the elbow
