About This Play/Drill

In 2019-2020 the Iowa women's team had a top 5 offense in the country in points per possession (PPP). They do a great job of executing and making simple plays. This is a 1-4 high set that can also be run out of multiple alignments such as a HORNS look.

  • 1-4 High Alignment

     

    1. Shooter(2 in this frame) clear to opposite corner

    2. 4 steps out for 1's pass

    3. 1 cuts middle then screens 5.

  • 1. After 5 cuts off 1 then 1 will second up top.

    2. 4 passes to 1

    3. After pass 3 and 4 double screen away 2

  • 1. 5 comes across and works to get an angle for a post and to occupy the help

    2. The 2 makes a great(see film) and catches the ball directly in line with 4's back.
