The Heat ran this set to cut the Spurs lead to 9 with 2:02 left in game 5. Green went over the top of the flare and ended up chasing Allen. Miller cut to the strong corner clearing out the weakside for the ball reversal to Bosh and basket cut for an Allen layup. See More

Here is a set play that Bucknell ran in the NCAA tournament this year against Butler. This is a counter to a similar action that they ran earlier in the same game. In the previous play 2 would cut to the corner opposite the ball and 1 would hit 3 on the wing for an ISO. In this counter 2 stops his cut under the basket and pops to the top of the key for a catch and shoot opportunity. This is an effective set when coupled with the previously described play. This is a great misdirection quick hitter! See More

The Miami Heat ran this set for Ray Allen against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. They curled him around a double screen, to create seperation. Once Allen gets to the middle of the paint he slows down and re-evaluates where the defense is and can choose to turn around and run off a stagger or continue and run off the single. Against the Pacers he ran off the single which happened to be Lebron James who dove to the rim after setting his screen. See More

Here is a quick hitter that was run by Lionel Hollins and the Memphis Grizzlies this past NBA season. The wide pin down to dribble hand off action is very hard to guard and can either get you a good look at a basket or create a mismatch opportunity if the defense elects to switch. See More

Here they sent #55 Roy Hibbert up immediatly on the catch to set a ball screen for George while clearing out the left side of the floor. I think the key to this action is #21 David West the Pacer's 4 man moving to the short corner. See More

The Pacers ran this set in a late clock situation right before the end of the First Half in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals vs the Miami Heat. #21 David West with a textbook example of ducking in, sealing a defender. This play didn't result in a basket as West missed an open lay-up. But the job he does of going along the baseline, then coming back towards the rim sealing they switching defender was tremendous. The Spurs ran this play at 6:59 of Q4 in game 5. The play involves a staggered screen for Manu and a dribble hand off between Duncan and Paker. After Duncan was isolated between the elbow and mid post he made a tremendous move on Bosh. He up faked, cross over stepped, took one dribble middle and spun baseline for the 1 handed bank shot from the block. See More
