Basketball Play - Ball Screen Lob (LOB for 4)

Ball Screen Lob (LOB for 4)

Kevin Noon 12/30/2014

This is a great play to run out of a time out, in transtion or as a quick hitter in the flow of the game. Designed mainly for a team with a strong pick and roll PG and an athletic 4 man. This play can be used to build some momentum in a competitive game. The first look is for 4 coming off the lob but it is important for 1 to attack off the ball screen and get in the lane. 5 will be sealing ball side block and 1 comes off the screen and should be looked at for a simple post feed. Basketball Play - Triple Blob

Triple Blob

Brandon Huntley 12/15/2014

Today's play is a Baseline Out of Bounds set used to get a quick shot off of a triple screen. It is drawn up to get a quick three-pointer for your best shooter or create a mismatch in the post if the defense switches. It is simple enough to be ran at all levels, provided your team can set solid screens See More

Basketball Play - Brooklyn EOG Slob

Brooklyn EOG Slob

Daniel Murphy 12/03/2014

The Nets ran this with under 10 seconds left to go in their game 3 loss to the Bulls. Johnson 2 was wide open, but held off on shooting the three to give the ball to Williams who came off a down screen and penetrated. Chicago did not want to foul, so the Nets were able to get the basket, score, foul, and come down and attempt a game tying 3 pointer. See More

Basketball Play - Warriors - SLOB 3 Pointer

Warriors - SLOB 3 Pointer

Jens Hakanowitz 12/03/2014

The Golden State Warriors ran this SLOB with 11 seconds to play (down by 4 points) in Game 7 of the first playoff round against the Clippers. A triple decoy play, which forces numerous switches. In this case the whole defense focused on Curry. He decided to take a 3 point runner, but could have passed the ball to Thompson for a wide open 3 point shot. See More

Basketball Play - Last Second BLOB - "Saints"

Last Second BLOB - "Saints"

Luke Riegel 11/05/2014

This quick and easy box set can be used during late game situations or at the end of shot clock situations. The play is designed to get 5 a lob or easy look at the rim with only a few seconds left on the clock. Depending how the set is defended, 2 may be wide open after he screens for 5. Immediately after 2 sets a solid screen, he needs to step to the open area and be the second option for the passer (1). See More
