Here is a set that Butler ran often for Gordon Hayward (3 in this set) to get him an ISO opportunity on his favorite side of the court. 2 cutting hard off of the stagger screen is essential so that x3 helps, giving 5 a great opportunity and angle to flare 3 out to the wing. The Bulls ran this play in the second quarter of their game one win over Miami. It is a simple Horns set which isolates a guard on the block. If you have a guard who is good as posting up and and has a mismatch inside, this is a great way to get the ball close to the basket. Keep in mind 4 and 5 have to step out and work to get open in order to feed the ball to the guard on the block. See More
