Favorite Send to FastDrawThis box set that Pepperdine used vs. St Mary's (1-9-16) got them a post up against limited help defense due to great spacing and back screen action. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ-NsxQNPaE See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGeno Auriemma is a master of strategy and this BLOB Set vs a 2-3 Zone yields multiple scoring options with its good movement and spacing. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set was executed by Mercyhurst WBB vs. Clarion University of PA in PSAC action on 12/19/15. There are post up opportunities for the point guard and post position in this set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_5TQzgCSn8 See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe 2nd ATO play run by the Cavaliers last night was out of a Box Set. Brogdon sells this play by putting up his FIST like he will down screen for Thompson and quickly changes directions cutting through the elevator screen set by Gill & and Wilkins. Perrantes dribbles over for a good passing angle and hits Brogdon flaring out of the elevator screen for a 3 pt shot This play was well designed and executed to perfection by Tony Bennett's Cavaliers in a pressure situation. Favorite Send to FastDrawLast night the Cavaliers were taken to the limit against the Golden Bears of Cal. Tony Bennett designed three consecutive timeout plays each of which yielded a basket. This is the first of those timeout plays. Run from the SLOB situation, the play is set-up by the elbow screen action which gave Brogdon a chance to either "read" and cut to the basket or come back off the "re-screen" action for a possible jumper. Tony Bennett is known for his defensive strategies, but last night these timeout actions he ran with his Cavs only showed what a true mastermind of the game he is. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOn Aug. 22, 2003, Scott Drew assumed Baylor's head coaching position and took over one of college basketball's most daunting rebuilding projects ever. Eleven years later, he became the program's all-time wins leader. From 2007-15, Baylor rose to national prominence with Drew leading the team to seven 20-win seasons, seven postseason appearances, the Big 12's first NIT championship, Baylor's first postseason tournament title in its 107-year history, and a Big 12-best and school-record 17 postseason wins. This years Baylor team is extremely athletic and can interchange positions in their sets. This is a very good easy to run Motion set the Bears use against Man-to-Man defenses. It incorporates DHO action, SPNR, opportunities for quick hitting backdoor actions, and post.-up scenarios. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn his first five seasons as head coach of the Boise State men's basketball team, Leon Rice has taken the Broncos to the NCAA Tournament twice and won at least 20 games four times. They have a very tall line-up and their guards & forwards can interchange in the Broncos Offensive schemes. This is a Motion look with backscreens, ball screens, lots of movement and ball reversal actions designed to move the defense into multiple rotations. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSteve Alford enters his third season as UCLA's head coach in 2015-16. In two seasons at UCLA, Alford has guided the Bruins to a 50-23 record and back-to-back NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearances. He begins his 25th year as a college head coach in 2015-16. The Bruins have Coach Alford's son Bryce has shot 38.9 percent from three-point range, making 140 of 360 three-pointers in his career at UCLA. This single screen action is designed to get Alford a look either off a flare, curl, or pop action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawJohn Calipari has had 26 of his Kentucky players drafted in the NBA during his tenure in the Blue Grass State. In 2012 his Wildcats won the NCAA Championship. Last season, the Wildcats finished the season undefeated, but lost in the NCAA Finals to finish the year 38-1 with a perfect 18-0 record in the SEC. Calipari has been a Dribble Drive Motion guru at Kentucky and has tinkered with the system to fit his skilled players. In the last years, the Wildcats have incorporated some different looks to the system, but still like the drive and kick action of the DDM. This is a Diamond set which when executed through can provide many different scoring options. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a Horns set that runs a guard to a post isolation and sends the point guard out for a 3 point shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA good play if you need a basket with little time left on the shot clock. Northern Iowa ran this against UNC and got a good look for a three-pointer with 1 second left on the clock. It has three progressions. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUNI ran this counter action to the shuffle screen which saw Koch come into the post receiving a pass from Jesperson who popped out after his screen. This time, Jesperson screens Bohannon who runs into the lane, hesitates by putting his "fist" up to signal screen and Koch also moves down as if to set a screen for Morgan. Both come together and execute a perfect "gate screen" for Bohannon who runs between the screens, closing to seal off the defender and Bohannon is free for the open 3 pt shot. Ben Jacobsen's team is very exciting and fun to watch. This is an excellent series you can easily install at any level to keep your opponents guessing! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGregg Marshall has taken the Wichita State Shockers Men's Basketball program to new heights since his arrival 9 years ago. In those 9 years, he has compiled a record of 204-76 including 95-15 over the last 3 years which saw the Shockers play in a Final 4. This is a nicely designed play to get the mutli versatile Ron Baker either a post-up action or a chance to utitlize his tremendous shooting ability coming off a double stagger screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavaliers ran this set against the Indiana Pacers on 11/8/15 with 44.3 seconds remaining in the 4th Quarter. The Cavaliers held a 95-92 lead prior to running this set, and the back door lay-up with LeBron James passing to Kevin Love gave them a five point cushion with less than half a minute left in the game.
