Favorite Send to FastDrawUse this last second SLOB to try and get something going to the rim. The play is designed for 5 at the rim, but with such little time on the clock, your team should probably take the first decent look it gets. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 Blast is an inbound set designed to get one of your best finishers a quick look inside. The set also has an option to get your best shooter a shot after screen-the-screener action. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawUniversity of Texas Women Basketball Team ran this low post feed motion set with a side ball screen for 1 to clear the top of the key. This allows a direct pass from 2 to the post who has a pop out above the 3pt line for an open shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play series from the Princeton Point Series. We aren't using a traditional Princeton alignment, but the elbow catch with the "over" and "away" cuts clearly establish this actions as Princeton Point actions. Running plays in a series helps disguise them so the defense doesn't know what is coming. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play with action on both sides of the court to keep the defense busy from helping. Getting the ball to the middle with dual actions going on make it hard to read both actions, but it makes it really hard for the defense to help, so if the actions are executed well, it will lead to something good for the offense. Favorite Send to FastDrawI use this overload set to force the defense to defend two shooters with one. The post at the nail can turn and shoot as well, This has been a very succesful zone set for us. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Seattle SuperSonics ran a version of this 3pt set under head coach Lenny Wilkins. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWe used a 5 Out pass and cut offense which set up this play perfectly. When the designated shooter got to the top of the key we double-flared the back side and dribbled at the flare screens. We used a numbering system for our personnel - the point guard was the 1, shooting guard was the 2, etc. So I would call "Special 2" to indicate we were running the flare screens for the shooting guard in our system.
