Favorite Send to FastDrawWe used a 5 Out pass and cut offense which set up this play perfectly. When the designated shooter got to the top of the key we double-flared the back side and dribbled at the flare screens. We used a numbering system for our personnel - the point guard was the 1, shooting guard was the 2, etc. So I would call "Special 2" to indicate we were running the flare screens for the shooting guard in our system. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at an empty post 5 Out Motion Offense. The concept is simple - pass and screen away. We look at the options that evolve from reading the defense and making complimentary cuts to attack the defense. The diagram desriptions and video show you everything you need to know. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn 2014, the team I was coaching lost in the Ohio High School State Finals to a GREAT defensive team. We ran our entire offensive package (dribble drive, sets, high ball screens, etc.) at them and could not get any good looks. The feeling from that game led me on a search to find a great continuity offense that included screening, ball reversals and the option to use it for interior shots or perimeter shots. The search culminated in finding the 5-Out Euro Ball Screen Offense from watching the Olympics. We took the basics of the offense, added some bells and whistles, and made it something that could accomplish all we were looking for in an offense. We incorporated sets out of the flow of the offense, motion numbered cutting principles and various entries to spice things up. We put all that information into 45 extremely detailed pages of a PDF file on this offense and all the teaching points involved in making it your offense. To purchase the PDF, click here: https://sellfy.com/p/8JOh/ Aquinas' main man-to-man offense from the 2014-15 season was continuity ball screen attack we called "Wave." It was our first year running it as our main offense but used it as a set play the previous season. We were able to use a lot of different features within the offense to attack our opponents and many of those features are outlined in this video. Depending on the strengths of the players, the offense can be more tailored for the perimeter or the interior. We used multiple entries including several not shown on the video and numbered cut system so the players could communicate which screens and cuts they were about to make. Favorite Send to FastDrawIt's baffling to me how often we would score on this simple play. We used it more as a BLOB special, about once every game or so. The less often you run it, the more effective it will be. The counter action, as seen in the diagram and in the embedded video, can also create some decent looks for your team, but that action requires more work once the ball is entered than the initial action. Favorite Send to FastDrawOur "Stacks" delay game strategy is designed to dictate the tempo of the game through offensive possessions. This strategy uses stacks at the elbows to balance the court. I like it becuase it can be used as a pure delay game, but also has enough attacking options, espeically if the defense falls asleep, to mix in throughout a game without the desire to stall. The embedded video shows the various options that take place out of the "Stacks" strategy Visit my Sellfy store for detailed coaching materials written by me - https://sellfy.com/coachhack.go/ Follow me on Twitter - @CoachHackGO See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawLuka Doncic attracts a lot of attention from the defense when he is coming off a ball screen. The Dallas Mavericks take advantage of this attention by setting consecutive ghost screens for Doncic (1). As Doncic dribbles off the second screen, 2 cuts off the baseline screen from 5 to get the open look in the corner for a three-point shot. Video clip below. See More
