Favorite Send to FastDrawAn excerpt from our new Five-Out Package Playbook In this sequence, the opening is the SWING to Player 5. The passer then gets into a MEET UP with Player 2. Player 5 takes the ball to the action with the dribble. In this diagram, Player 2 REJECTS the MEET UP and the action flows into either a pass-and-follow DRAG ball screen or a FLIP (dribble handoff). From there the offense is into EURO. Frames 5 and 6 show how we can SWING and get into a MEET UP on the second side. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawOhio State used this simple set to get EJ Lidell a post iso touch. Lidell posted an excellent PPP of 1.096 on Post ups during the 19-20 season. This set is simple yet very effective if you have a player that is effective playing with his back to the basket. The counters and options, such as split cuts, are endless. #Top25XsOs: Honorable Mention Teams | Teams 25-21 | Teams 20-16 | Teams 15-11 | Teams 10-6 | Teams 5-1 *New customers use discount code SAVE10 at purchase* See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter and the game tied at 101, the Lakers ran this play designed to get Anthony Davis a dunk off the roll to the rim. 1 started the play with a pass to 3 and a cut to the opposite block off the UCLA cut. 3 then passes to 5 off the ball screen. This inital action was the same as the play the opened the second half with. This time instead of getting the handoff from 5, 2 cuts to the opposite corner. This cleared a side of the floor for 5 to dribble handoff with 1. 1 turned the corner and passed to 5 for the easy dunk. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Lakers opened the second half of their Christmas day game against the Clippers with this play designed to get Lebron James (1) the ball off a pindown screen. 1 started the play by passing to 3 on the wing and making a UCLA cut to the basket. 3 immediately passed to 5 off of the ball screen, who reversed the ball to 2 on a dribble handoff. 1 then cuts off the screen from 4 to get the pass from 2. In this situation the initial actions were defended well and the Lakers went into a second ball screen and a high post flash in order to get a shot off. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawQuick horns set play, providing space for 5 and 3 to play on one side of the floor. 5 can either pass and set a side pick for 3 or dribble hand-off & cut to the rim. There's always a back cut available for 3, if his defender denies the pass from 5. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTeam USA basketball faced a zone defense for much of their game against Turkey in the FIBA World Cup. They were down 1 late in overtime and ran this play to get a shot for Joe Harris (3) off of some movement. This is a common play that Gregg Popovich uses with the Spurs against man defense. They made some adjustments to run this as an effective play against Turkey's 2-3 zone defense. 1 reversed the ball to 5. Then 5 went into a dribble handoff with 2. but didn't need to set a good screen on x2. This allowed x2 to get through the screen and shift out of the wing area to matchup with 2 up top. 5 then screened x4 on the outside of the zone to get 3 open. This essentially forced Turkey to matchup man to man with x4 having to guard 3. x4 trailed on the screen and 3 was able to turn the corner on the catch and drive to the basket. See More
