Basketball Play - Yo-Yo Post Set

Yo-Yo Post Set

Randy Brown 03/08/2013

This popular play will produce baskets by getting the ball inside to your best post scorer. The spacing on this play is excellent as 4 and 5 execute the Yo-Yo action using down screen and back screen. Use this as a quick hitter or ATO for post score. See More

Basketball Play - Full Court Inbounds Play, Dead Ball

Full Court Inbounds Play, Dead Ball

Randy Brown 01/04/2013

This play features a sure-fire way to get the ball to your best free throw shooter when handling full court pressure on a dead ball situation. 4 and 5 cut hard and call for the ball as decoys. 3 steps to the ball to set up his cut down the floor, using back screen by 1. On 3's cut deep, 1 cut to get open and catch the inbounds pass from 2. The ultimate goal is to get the ball to 1 so he can get fouled, but many times 3 is wide open sprinting down the floor for a sure lay up. See More

Basketball Play - Knox STS

Knox STS

Kyle Brown 10/10/2012

A misdirection look to get the ball inside. 1 has to be a tough player to go and dig out the 5 man on the cross screen. 1's defender goes from chasing a back screen to helping on a cross screen. Can finish into a STS action. See More

Basketball Play - Backscreen Action

Backscreen Action

Scott Peterman 09/01/2012

Here is a back screen action play from the University of Kentucky provided by Men's Basketball HoopScoop. It has great backscreen action in it to spread the floor out for your point guard to attack. There are two options at the end for your point guard also. I think that you will enjoy. See More

Basketball Play - RED WING

RED WING

Dymetrius Ware 10/17/2025

PLAY IS SET UP COMING DOWN IN TRANSITION. #2 ACTS LIKE HE IS SETTING A PIN DOWN SCREEN FOR #3 BUT AT LAST SECOND CUTS HARD BETWEEN #4 & #5's ELEVATOR SCREEN. #1 PASSES TO #2 FOR 3 PT SHOT OR LOOKS FOR #5 OR #4 ON A SLIP. #4 POPS TO BALLSIDE CORNER TO SET UP POSSIBLE WPR BETWEEN #2 & #5 WITH HIMSELF SHAPING UP BEHIND THE P&R FOR SHOT. #2 CAN PASS TO #5 OR TO #4. ON PASS TO #4, #5 GIVES #2 A BACK SCREEN FOR POSSIBLE LAYUP. WHEN #5's DEFENSIVE MAN HELPS ON #2, #5 PUNCHES IN FOR BETTER POST UP POSITION. #4 TAKES 1 OR 2 DRIBBLES TO SET UP PASSING ANGLE TO PASS TO #5 IN LOW POST. 3 PERIMETER PLAYERS SPACE OUT FOR WEAKSIDE 3.
