Favorite Send to FastDrawPart of Daily Defensive DNA. Drill can be 4 on 4 or 5/5. It is a live drill. Anytime a player isnt (1) in proper stance (2) in proper position or (3) not communicating they are removed from the drill. This teaches the importance of each possession. Option 1: Keep teams and score for a period of time. Losing teams have "parting gifts" for not winning. Option 2: Remove player and perform a " You don't get to play defense" activity the remainder of the possession. (treadmill, bleachers) See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawIf you're like me Shell drill is a staple of your daily defensive preparation. Use this drill to work on baseline penetration without letting him beat one the ball defender. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is great for a player with a size or strength mismatch on his defender. If you can’t get the ball on the block right away look to the high post for the post feed. Don’t go away from the post up too quickly. The deeper the catch the easier it will be to finish the play. Don’t make the post man wait on the ball, give it to him right when he is open. See More
