Basketball Play - 3-on-3 Flow - Competitive Conditioning

3-on-3 Flow - Competitive Conditioning

Joel Hueser 06/16/2018

3-on-3 Flow (aka Flow Ball) is another one of our team favorites. Credit goes to @John_Leonzo for this fastbreak conditioner. We love it for a variety of reasons, but mostly for its emphasis on defensive transition and uptempo offense. We have adapted the following scoring rules: 1) Play to 15 using 2's and 3's. 2) Player who scores game winner must validate with a made freet hrow. 3) Should the player miss, team score returns to 11 and play resumes. Boston Celtics - Early Offense - Push Action

Austin Anderson 05/19/2018

The Celtics possess one of the most skilled and interchangeable rosters of the NBA. This post provides several variations of Boston's Push Action. This early offense is designed to create a 2 man game on either side of the court. Rozier, Smart, Brown or Tatum can occupy any perimeter spot. Horford, Morris, Tatum, Baynes or Monroe can play the 4/5 spots. This action creates pick/roll, pick/pop, and drive/kick opportunities. Basketball Play - Beating a Zone Press Using Side / Middle / Reverse

Beating a Zone Press Using Side / Middle / Reverse

Shannon Clancy 04/18/2018

Concept - Beating A Zone Press Using Side / Middle / Reverse There are many ways to break full court pressure - and they can change based on the type of pressure you're facing. Whatever you decide, remember these three words - side, middle, reverse. When playing tough full court zone pressure teams it can sometimes feel as if there's 12 defenders on the court - but of course there are only 5, and 2 of them are guarding one player. This leaves 3 players to guard your remaining 4, and at least one of them will likely start long, protecting the rim. Jr. Wizards Coaches Manual See More
