Favorite Send to FastDrawRunning off of a stagger screen and a handoff makes life tough for a defender. This is a great set if you are either looking to get an open three-pointer or your star some space. Notice also what side of the floor they ran this on for D’Angelo Russell because he is a lefty. Favorite Send to FastDrawIf you are looking to get a big man a good look in the post, this set is about as good as it gets. This is a great set to run at the beginning of a game if you are the type of coach that believes in getting your big going early on to have them active on defense. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis was a beautifully run set coming out of the timeout for Valparaiso. It presents many options, but if the backdoor cut from the flex screener is open, that is a high percentage look. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a creative set and it is similar to weave action in which 3 players flip or pitch the ball as an interchange. On the final flip, a big steps up into a ballscreen. What I like about this set is it gets the players attacking to their strong hands off the final ballscreen: Avery Bradley to his right, and Isaiah Thomas to his left. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother set that uses Boston's versatility very well with their big men's shooting ability. When they need a 3 point shot they usually run this action in which a big receives a pass, flips it back to the guard right away and then receives a flare screen for a look from 3. I like the options this set offers in which the guard who receives the flip back can attack right away, this can draw the big man's defender in, and then look to hit the big off the flare for an open shot. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a nice hand-off, back-screen, cross-screen play to get your post man an open look near the rim. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCombining a dribble handoff with a weak side flare screen is a dangerous combination, especially when Doug McDermott is having a career night shooting the ball. The dribble handoff shifts the defense into help and the weak side flare screen takes advantage of this shift to get a shooter an open look. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawStar players need space to operate and that is exactly what this set gave J.J Redick. The screen the screener action is tough to defend, especially when the screener is a deadly three-point threat like Redick. Because his shot was being overplayed, this set allowed him a nice lane to attack the basket. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToronto used this play at the end of the quarter. Memphis doubled 4 coming off of the ball screen. With only one guy guarding 5 and 1, 4 made the right pass to 1 who hit an open 3-point shot with time running out. See More
