12/12/2013Here is a SLOB that the pacers use when they want to get a quick 3 out of a SLOB situation. I like the screen little on big screen the screener action to free up a jump shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawWe use is drill to prepare for teams that use flex cuts, shuffle cuts, down screens and cross screens. Coaches can decide how they want to defend these actions. Do you want to switch, go over, under screens? See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a set play we used with success in our first season. It has multiple scoring options and a lot of movement. If the timing is good, the defense has to make split second decisions which can lead to easy points either on the paint or on the perimeter. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a simple secondary break play with multiple options that can be run to get into a three-around-two set. For more, check out my website www.coachpeelbasketball.com, sign up for a membership and get your first 30 days free. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCutter is a sideline inbounds play designed to run shuffle action off of zipper action. For more, check out my website www.coachpeelbasketball.com, sign up for a membership, and get your first 30 days free. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Miami Heat ran this play in the 2012 playoffs to get a lob for Dwyane Wade. The lob action has also been successful for us, but once teams have the play scouted, we've been able to take advantage by inbounding to the screener and setting up a handoff or a down screen option. It is critical that 3 sells the initial zipper cut, as most teams will deny this pass and this will force the defender into a position where he's easier to screen coming back to the basket. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIf you have a great #2 and you want to run secondary break offense, plays from Larry Brown's "Iverson" series might be just what you need. This series sets up your #2 to score consistently and to maximize his skill set within the framework of your team's offensive scheme. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set is used by UCONN Women's Basketball Coach Geno Auriemma to get a quick look down low to his post players or to free up his PG for a three. Using a screen the screener play can create mismatches against a defense the likes to switch everything. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is the set the Miami Heat ran in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs. I thought from watching it the lob was open and the 3 which #6 LeBron James missed were both open. A great job of executing by the Miami Heat. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA very similiar set to what the Indiana Pacers ran against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals the Spurs ran a misdirection play against the Heat in the NBA Finals. Using the presence of #21 Tim Duncan they made it look like he was getting a cross screen, before #2 Kawhi Leonard turned right back around to set a stagger with #21 Tim Duncan for #20 Manu Ginobili. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Spurs ran a nice variety of stuff out of the classic Horns set. They also loved to do things with a stagger action. Here they got their 2 the ball off a stagger and immediatly into a dribble handoff. This put the defense in a trailing position, and allowed the 5 to slip right to the rim for a basket against the Miami Heat. See More
