Favorite Send to FastDrawBucknell is a team with players who can play multiple positions, basically going 4 out 1 in and running a hard cutting Early Offense set here. Their hard cuts force the defense to react quickly and the kick-out pass is the most dangerous option as their shooters do a good job moving in space. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a series of set plays from Flippo Baskets BG 74 for the German DBBL Play-offs last season as I was scouting for BC Pharmaserv Marburg. It was an update to plays being used during the Play-offs. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMarc Gasol is one of the truly underappreciated players in the league. He's a solid post-up player, a decent shooter, the best big man passer in the league (with his brother being a close second) and he may very well be the defensive player of the year in the NBA right now. Memphis' offense is a cramped, inconsistent and often times ineffective collaboration of players who shrink the floor in an era that thrives on spacing it. When things go well for the Grizzlies, it almost always has something to do with Marc Gasol making a play for his teammates. Gasol is deadly from the elbows, as that position on the floor gives him a perfect vantage point of the floor and allows him to distribute from a high-low perspective. Here is one way the Grizz utilize Gasol's skillset from that particular spot on the floor. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDespite their recent woes, the Golden State Warriors still rank as a top 10 offensive team in basketball, which is impressive given the amount of time they have spent without center Andrew Bogut this season. Bogut is a versatile offensive option that can score on the block and facilitate from the post or the elbow, which makes for some great offensive chemistry with David Lee, Golden State's other multi-skilled big man. The Warriors can also use Bogut as a way to create offense for their potent guards - Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Here is an example of the Warriors putting Bogut on the block and using weakside action, as well as Bogut's nifty passing touch, to get a good open look for Thompson at the free throw line. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere's a set we have gotten a lot of mileage out of and run for different players, from different positions where we feel we have advantages and on both sides of the floor. Furthermore, it can get 3 great looks at any point in the game based on what you are looking for with regards to situation and score. Can also adapt slightly and run as a Zipper Set SLOB and net the same looks. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGood half court offense. It makes since to use it if you need to get easy points without stopping the game. The point for the screener (on flare screen) is to roll to the basket as quick as possible. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere's a set from the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2012 NBA Playoffs submitted by FastDraw Coach Bert DeSalvo. The Thunder use this quick hitter late in the clock to attack the rim or kick for a 3. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe 1998 Chicago Bulls ran this Baseline Out of Bounds play, particularly in the 1998 Playoffs against the Charlotte Hornets. The design was to get Pippen the ball on the block with shooters in Jordan and Kerr around him in the Triangle. Pippen is the first screener, then gets a screen set for him by Rodman in a "screen the screener" action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis year the Washington Wizards didn't have a successful win-loss percentage, but when their best lineup was in healthy, their offense was very potent. Coach Randy Wittman used the "Zipper Triple Flare" as an action to free up his shooters on the perimeter and give John Wall the ability to read the play both with and without the ball. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTeams with post players that need to get their touches have to be creative about how they get the ball into the post. In Post Fist, the action starts on one side, completely clears the area, and then allows the post player to enter the recently vacated space and post up. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHigh KD Drive is an option read half-court set for both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. The Thunder ran this several times with James Harden at the 2. It is designed to give Durant the primary option to score, and if the opportunity presents itself based on how the defense plays Durant, Westbrook will have the green light to drive to the basket. Favorite Send to FastDrawBaseline post-up set for a wing coming off a double screen. Made better by a 1-3 ball screen to start the action, perhaps getting a better mismatch See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSet to post the ball against 2-3 zone. X3 has to come out and guard 2 on the wing so that 5 can post up against X5. See More
