Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Chicago Bulls are trying to make a playoff push, late in the 2016-2017 season. They used this secondary break multiple times in the 2nd half of their win over the Philadelphia 76ers. It resulted in numerous baskets, allowing the Bulls guards to get downhill in the pick and roll. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a wrinkle from the Golden State Warriors "Fist Up" play that they normally run as an EOQ/EOH action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis Hawk set is a wrinkle from the Cleveland Cavaliers "Hawk Stagger" action when X2 denies 2 cutting to the basket off of the back screen. Instead of 2 cutting off of the weakside stagger screen from 4 & 5, he sets a double ball-screen with 3 for 1. As 1 attacks off of the ball screen, 3 rolls to the short corner and 5 sets a down screen for 4 as X5 is zoning up to help on the penetration and roll. 1 has option driving it to the basket, passing to 3 on the roll, 2 "shaking" behind 3's roll or drive-and-kick to 4 (Kevin Love) exiting to the wing. Favorite Send to FastDrawHorns Set. Off the corner PNR action the screener receives the back screen moving hard into the ball side post on the opposite side for a quick pass and isolation action as the passer cuts away to the weak side taking away the help on the ball side and possible post double. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis Secondary action is a good "read" action by the Post making the wing pass. Sprinting-to-screen, the "read" has the Post slip to the basket and the second post cuts behind for a posible Hi / Lo pass off the elbow. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUNC runs the SPNR on the wing looking to come off and attack or hit the post coming off the cross screen in the lane. The cross screen creates traffic, making the defense have to guard multiple actions at once. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWest Virginia used this Princeton type action last night against Gonzaga in their Sweet 16 match-up. Carter runs off the FT line screen into a double stagger looking to catch & shoot off the pass from the TOK. If there's no shot, he has the option to throw inside and the 5 man's down screen or exchange with 3 can also lead to a Hi / Lo off the wing pass to the FT Line area. The play closes with a corner ball screen action when the post has no attack option to the basket and the PG makes the read shooting behind the screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawKansas ran this play in consecutive possesions in their game against Purdue. The play started out with some false motion using two ball screens out of the Horns set. 5 then set the pindown screen for 3 so he can get a shot or create for his teammates. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawSean Miller runs the "Spurs Weak" action with the entry off the break to the wing, SPNR action and then on ball reversal opposite, utilizing a cross screen in the paint to free up the 5 man for a post entry pass. Simple, but effective action to get your post man touches inside. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a really well tought out set as the ball is entered on the break to the wing and then a quick screen on the trailing post leads to an early SPNR action to the open side. Fitzner can step out to shoot or roll depending on the defense plays it. If the 1st action isn't open, the ball is reversed and the passer sprints-to-screen on the ball, again a Guard-Guard action forcing the defense into a decision. If the PG cannot turn the corner, the 4 steps out to re-screen back to the two man side or the PG can attack down the lane. This is one of my favorite St.Mary's sets from Coach Bennett. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe St. Mary's Gaels do a very good job running their half court sets, with good patience, spacing, and ball movement, they make the defense really pay close attention especially off the ball. This set out of a Horns, is very popular at the European level right now and the first action gives you a chance for a quick hitter off the back door cut. St. Mary's has Jock Landale who can pop or roll out of the SPNR action which makes him a double threat and can open up the driving lanes for the guards too get in the paint and cause rotations, which then leads to kick-outs for their proficient shooting from behind the arc.
