Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Florida Gators opened their 2014 Sweet 16 matchup vs UCLA running this half-court set. During the first weekend of the NCAA tournament the Gators frequented their baseline screening series, thus a perfect time to throw a wrinkle into it would be the opening play of their next game. By popping 4 to the wing and rolling 3 out for a throwback, this isolated Young (5) rolling and prevented most of the help from being in the paint. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawFlorida’s Center Patric Young had a frustrating performance in the Gators’ Sweet 16 win over UCLA. Billy Donovan opened up their 2014 Elite 8 matchup with Dayton running this Horns set to get Young going early in the game. Florida was unable to get the ball to Young, but did score off a rim attack. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set provide several opportunites to get your 5 man a post touch on each block. If you have a point-guard that is comfortable posting up, this set is a great opportunity to get him an early post touch on the block. After the initial UCLA screen by the 5 man, the point-guard tries to get a post touch, but if he can't, he immediately goes into another UCLA screen for the 5 to get him back on the block. If the 5 isn't open on the block, the ball gets reversed to the point guard. The 4 man immediately sets a ball screen for the point guard to help get the ball reversed to the other side of the floor. The 3 will sprint across the lane and set a cross-screen for the 5 man and another post up opportunity for him on the opposite block. The 4 man will finish the play with a down screen for the 3 to the top of the key. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a quick screen-the-screen action designed to get you best shooter (2) an open shot on the perimeter. The 5 will UCLA screen for the 4; the 4 needs to read the screen; could have an opportunity to tight curl and get all the way to the rim. If 4 isn't open, he needs to space to the 3-point line and the 2 diagonal screens for 5 to the weak side of the rim, while the 4 finishes with a downscreen for the 2. The early UCLA screen by the 5 man to get the 4 man open, can be a mis-direction screen because you are trying to get a shot for your 2 man. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Dallas Mavericks use this play during the 2014/2015 NBA season. The UCLA cut, which turns into a back screen, is a decoy to set up the pick & roll action. With a little space in the middle, Rondo just needs to throw the ball up to Chandler who hammers it down. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSMU used this lob play successfully in the second half of their NCAA matchup with UCLA. Defending this play requires great awareness and communication between x1 and x5, and the Mustangs were able to catch their opponent off guard and convert the lob. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawNC State used this play early in the 1st half to get an open shot for Trevor Lacey. The play starts with an entry pass to the wing and a UCLA cut from 1 to the low post. Once 3 (Lacey) gets the ball at the top of the key, he has the option to pass to 1 for a shot or to pass to 4 flashing to the pinch post. If Lacey passes to 4, he loops around him at the elbow looking for a hand-off and a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 passes to 2 cutting off of a staggered cross-screen from 5 and 4. Once 2 has the ball and 3 is on the opposite wing, the team is now set up in a 1-4 high set. 1 makes a UCLA cut off of 5 to the block. If 1 isn't open, 5 steps out to set a ball-screen for 2. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawGonzaga ran this with just over 8 minutes left in the second half against UCLA. It's important that the big coming off the double screen looks for deep position first before immediately posting on the block. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIf the 1 kicks the ball up the sideline to the 2 we refer to this as pitch, simply because the 1 has pitched the ball ahead. Depending on when the advance pass takes place and your general preference on principles. The 5 can set a UCLA screen for the 1 who cuts through, the 1 can rub screen the 5 who sprints to the SPNR, the 1 can screen away or the 1 can simply cut through to space out, regardless of what you want 1-5 SPNR ensues and subsequently your second side philosophies kick in on a ball reversal. Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 8:32 left in the first half, Kent State ran this BLOB for a quick two against UCLA. The 5 man ended up screening his own man as well as 1's man, and it led to a poor closeout and an eventual putback off a missed pull-up by 1. There are multiple post options as well, with 4 sealing after the initial screen and a postup after the second of the staggered screens from 5. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSt. Bonaventure ran this multiple action play to get a game tying dunk in the first half of their NCAA Tournament game against UCLA. The Bonnies started in an Elbow set and ran a flex action getting 1 the ball back up top. This isolated the left side of the floor for 4 to set the pindown screen for 2. Once 2 received the pass from 1, 4 slipped the screen and cut to the basket. 2 found him for a wide open dunk.. See More
