About Brandon Mullis
Brandon Mullis has 15 years of basketball coaching experience. Coach Mullis has experience at the College, High School, Middle School and AAU levels.
To begin his coaching career, Mullis was the Head Coach of an AAU program in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina. He then became a Middle School Head Coach for two years, followed by two more years as a High School Varsity Assistant Coach, with both stints in Durham, NC.
For the next six seasons, Mullis helped establish a new Junior College program, serving as Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Davidson County Community College in Lexington, NC. While at DCCC, Coach Mullis helped the Storm post more wins (164) than any other Division III Junior College in the country during that time frame. Mullis also helped the program to two NJCAA Division III National Championship Tournament appearances, five Region X Regular Season Championships, two Region X Tournament Championships and two District VII Tournament Championships. Mullis recruited and coached four All – Americans, including two 1st Team All – American selections. A large number of Mullis’ former players have gone on to further their playing careers at the next level, including four-year colleges and some in the professional ranks.
Most recently, Mullis has stepped back down to the high school level. The past four seasons Mullis has served as Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at Ragsdale High School in Jamestown, NC. While at Ragsdale, he helped the program make three consecutive state playoff appearances. In his first season at Ragsdale, Mullis helped guide the school to more wins than the previous three seasons combined. In June of 2017, Mullis was named the Head Men's Basketball Coach at North Davidson High School in Lexington, NC.
