Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set play used by Oklahoma in the NCAA Tournament. The first option is to pass to 5 in the post. If that isn't there, 5 steps out to set a ball-screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a play Cal State Bakersfield uses to get the ball in the post. Forcing the defense to guard the post up and the staggered screen can open up a slip to the rim by 4. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPurdue Post action looking to get the ball inside off this quick hitter with a wing entry action PG cuts down the lane, sets a cross screen in the paint and quickly cuts back to the TOK looking to catch & shoot or hit the 2 man coming off a little rub screen at the elbow See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUtah runs a very diverse offense Here they use the cross screen to free up PAC 12 player of the year Jakob Poeltl See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUNC Classic Secondary Action Coming down off the break using ball reversal to move the defense, the back screen is set looking for a quick lob action On ball reversal to the TOK, the big-big screen takes place and Carolina's big men are adept at using their bodies to duck-in and get position for the pass from the TOK See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawPurdue ran this play in the first half against Little Rock to get the ball in to the post. Another options off of this play is the staggered screen for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAlthough Jakob Poeltl has been a heavy focus of the Utes offense in the 2nd half of the season, Utah has balanced scoring with players like Bonam, Kuzma, and Loveridge, not to mention Taylor. Here is a double stagger action run out of the Fast Break looking to get a good look at the basket from the TOK. Option to hit the post man is also there and the shooter can look to curl if the defense trails the screen. Larry Krystowiak does a good job changing his sets and moving his players to where they can be most effective on the floor. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Utah Utes have been a sensation all year long and as Jakob Poeltl was selected PAC 12 Player of the Year, the interests in March Madness has peaked to optimum level. The Utes opened the NCAA Tournament against the Fresno State Bulldogs and here is a set run out of Transition designed to get Poeltl a touch in the paint. Head Coach Larry Krystowiak has really done an outstanding job bringing Poeltl along since his arrival in Utah. Poeltl is being projected as a 1st round pick in the upcoming NBA Draft and all eyes from Austria are squarely on the big man wondering if he will be the first Austrian born player to make it in the NBA. Favorite Send to FastDrawCoach Jim Larranaga wants to play up-tempo and score in transition. This year they have concentrated more on getting the ball inside the paint more. Even though it has a modern day (4 Out) look it still has an old fashion (inside-out) approach to basketball. To execute this plan they use a variety of ball screen type action and roll/replace concepts. Having a very good point guard that can drive and shoot makes this tough to defend. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA wrinkle to a common screen-the-screener play that Austin Peay has run frequently this year, this play is predicated on the defense jamming the middle for the screen-the-screener action. It allows a shooter to leak out to the wing while his defender sags middle to take away the down screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPrinceton style play used by Holy Cross in the First Four game against Southern. If the defenders get caught helping on the flash by 5 it can leave 4 open posting up. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawKansas uses this play to get defenders chasing their post players. The curl by 4 into the post puts the defender at a disadvantage. The guards then move the ball around to find 4 open in the post. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set is one of the best sets I have seen from the 2015-16 NCAA season. It has so many layers and options to it and is forcing the defense to guard for the entire possession. It has screen the screener action, double cross screen into roll and replace action, into a high low opportunity and then when the defense collapses to help on the post, double stagger for a guard to get a shot.
