Favorite Send to FastDrawBrooklyn ran this play in their 79-76 game 3 loss to the Bulls. If you have players who are not great playmakers, this is a good set to get your bigs moving to the basket and allow your point guard to create. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawI saw Stephen Curry doing this before a game so we decided to make a drill out of it. This is a great drill because you (1) get conditioning and game type shots, (2) movement and (3) you can use both sides of the floor. We set the scoring as follows: The Shooter must make 3 3pt shots to complete the drill. They do not have to be in a row. Mid range Shots do not count as a make. Advanced: The Shooter must make 4/5 shots including the mid-range if they miss a 3pt shot. Expert: The Shooter must make 3 consecutive 3pt shots. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOpening play run by the Miami Heat in their 98-86 win over the Buck's 4/23/13. If you have a guard who is good in the post, a backsreen is a great way to set it up. The Buck's switched the backscreen, but 5's defender did not guard 2 (Wade) closely enough, allowing the pass into the post. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn Play 1 SOB 2 is your inbounder 5 steps up to screen for 3 who cuts first to the ball side corner looking for a quick pass 1 sets a back screen for 4 looking for the lob at the rim SOB 5 4 & 3 screen simultaneously for 1 & 2 (5 has the option to hit either one if they are open) 4 screens across for 3 who comes to the ball and receives the pass 3 swings the ball to 4 as 1 is cross screening in the lane for 2 who comes off the screen looking to catch & shoot 1 continues across the lane and screens 5 who dives hard to the ball side post looking for a pass from 2 if no shot was taken See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawQuick hitting play from the Stanford curl/rub series. 4 and 5 screen for 3 curling over the top. 3 continues to cut to right corner to clear the lane. 5 quickly screens again for 4 who curls hard into the lane to catch and score. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLast play OKC ran in the first half of their game 1 win over Houston. It is a great alternative to a 1-4 low end of quarter or end of half play. Clearing out one side of the floor and popping on the ball screen set up an isolation for your best perimeter scorer. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a baseline out of bounds play that I ran this season with my high school team. Initially when I drew up this action I invisioned utilizing the ending of the play to get 5 a lay-up. But the option that was usually open was 3 cutting to the wing for a shot. 5 was rarely open for 2 reasons; one was a lack of patience and two being that they would forget to run this option. Nevertheless, this is a simple play that I believe can be utilized at every level of the game. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith under a minute left in the first half OKC ran this action to free up Westbrook. It involves a simple flare screen, but a Houston switch allowed a point guard to drive to the basketbal against a big for a layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a great quick hitter that can be run right out of transition that Iowa State used numerous times throughout this past season. The quick hitter is tremendous because it flows right out of transition and seeks to put the ball in the hands of your best players (2 and 5) multiple times. Also, this play creates great spacing for your trail man (5 in this play) to get the ball in an isolation scenario if the other options are not available. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA Miami Heat set that they run for Rashard Lewis to get a look. 4 man sprints off the downscreen and fakes setting the ballscreen for 1. 2 then sprints off a baseline double. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDouble ball screen used to get 4 open. 3 cut off 5's down screen. If 5's defender hedges, 5 slips to the basket for a lay-up. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawFlare Screen into a ball screen by OKC allowed a wide open 3 point attempt. With 3 and 4 spaced in the corner the floor is really spread. 1 is dynamic off the pick and roll, forcing the defense to shrink the floor. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is one of the most complete drills and is great for a pre-game warmup. You get (1) Screens, Passes, Shots, and can add additional defense if desired. The drill incorporates every aspect of your offense and a great way to teach footwork. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a quick hitter that is run out of a box set and involves a little misdirection. In this play, 2 is your best shooter and you are looking for multiple opportunities for him to get the ball in a scoring position whether it be off of the flex cut, or off of the pin down from 4. If this play is executed properly, it could be a great asset to add to your offensive arsenal. See More
