Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a great shooting drill that I picked up from PGC Basketball. Check them out on the web at pgcbasketball.com for more information on attending one of their summer sessions. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn overtime on Sunday, Mike Woodson drew up this Sideline Out of Bounds play to try and get Raymond Felton a much needed 3-pointer in Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs versus the Boston Celtics. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Sacramento Kings ran this play with less than a minute to go in their 112-108 loss to the Clippers on 4/17/13. DeMarcus Cousins scored 36 points in the game and this is one of back to back inbounds plays he scored on. Although you might not have DeMarcus Cousins on your team, this will work for your best post player or any other player who you feel has a mismatch in the foul line area. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHead Coach John Calipari ran a lot more set plays this season with his young group of Wildcats. Here is an Early Offense play looking to either get off a lob pass to your 4 man or use the DHO to get a shot off with the hand-off man acting a screener for the guard coming off the backscreen. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Sacramento Kings ran this sideline inbounds play with less than one minute left in their 112-108 loss to the Clippers on 4/17/2013. DeMarcus Cousins had a big game scoring 36 points and scored on two inbounds plays with less than a minute left to keep the game close. If you have a matchup advantage it is a good idea to isolate the scorer and let them do what they do best. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe 1 will pick a side. The ball side guard will clear to the opposite wing. Ball side post will set a "Texas" screen. The backside guard MUST time his screen right when he screens for the screener. The 1 will come off his screen and drag the defense while looking for the 5 to come clear. If he is open he will throw the lob. If the lob is not open the 1 will reverse the ball to the 2 and cut ball side corner. The 4 will fill the high post looking for the pass from 2. On the pass to the 4 the 5 will look to flip or seal his man. If we cannot get the Hi Lo action then the 4 will reverse the ball to the 3 and set a stagger with the 2 for the 1. We are now into a Hi Lo base motion. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis three point special starts with 2 getting open on wing. 3 cuts hard down lane using screens from 4 and 5. 5 then pins down for 4 as he releases outside the three point line for open look from 3. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a play that Utah State ran during the 2010 season. This is a great play to run out of transition and if it is exectued well, you can get many quality looks at the basket. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set play that is a staple of Rick Byrd's at Belmont. This is a great set when you need a three because of the double down screen that is set for 2. Also because of the double screen that 4 and 5 are setting, 3 will have a good chance at driving baseline and not having to worry about help side defense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAt the end of regulation of Game 4 versus the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau drew up this play to force overtime. The play did not directly lead to a score but did put Joakim Noah into position for the tip-in. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Warriors ran this play a couple times in the fourth quarter of their 99-88 win over the Trailblazers on 4/17/13. It was a back and forth game in the fourth quarter until the Warriors went on a run. This play is a simple entry into a side ball screen. If you can get your best play maker coming off the ball screen and best roller setting the screen, with shooters spacing the floor this play will work well for you. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a late game situation we have used. I like it because you can install this and get either a 2pt or 3pt shot out of it. The PG attacks and makes a read as to where the ball should go or you can designate the pass based on your opponents defense. The option I like and use the most is the last option to the opposite corner for a 3. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Kentucky Wildcats used this effective half court set to get a look for Harrow and also for a good look at post entry from the wing of the initial action See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play establishes several isolations and mixes a segment of the Triangle Offense with a backdoor cut and ball screen. Great set for mismatches and for players who can handle the ball & attack the basket. See More
